Ed: If you want to call it hateful speech (or crime), you are being halfway honest. But if you call it "hate speech", and there is no confession of hatred by the accused, you are a LIAR!.
  Your sensory inputs all pass to the midbrain region, where they are synthesized into a five-sense event, prejudged as to beautiful, ugly, loveable, hateful, etc., - according to your conditioning - mostly before you were six. Then the event-stream of sensory data and prejudgments is sent to your cortical areas, where you finally become conscious of it. What you see is a lovable thing, or a hateful thing, etc.. But the "hateful" comes from you.
  Until now this brain sequence was regarded as a theory. Recent scientific experiments have now proven it to be a fact. ( Scientists catch cells in the act of remembering)
  If you refuse to acknowledge the true source of your hatred, you will attribute it to the person who is doing or saying what you don't LIKE! This is called "projection". There are two remedies for this delusion or self-deception: Use your conscious intellect to acknowledge the true source of the judgment, and sort out what is 'yours' from what is 'theirs'. The other method is to take up years of meditation to deprogram yourself from your own judgmental cultural conditioning. To do less is to revert to the mental status of a barbarian aborigine, who empowers trees and rocks with mysterious hostile forces and magical characteristics.
  It's your choice. Are you a civilized human being, or something just one little notch above an ape?
  Don't believe it? What about this 'thing' that is right now, right in front of your face? That's how it works too. It uses its programming in the same way, and it's 'visual cortex' is the very monitor you are looking at. Haven't you heard the saying that, "Man creates things in his own image"?

Hatred, like beauty, is in the (mind's) eye of the beholder

Ed: The genetic history of an individual is unique (except for identical twins), constitutes his or her "nature" component, is inborn, and is the focus of Libertarian thought. In the Constitution it is the source of its reference to individual rights, which the Founders referred to often as "natural" rights.
  However, mankind does not have claws, fangs or extraordinary speed to ensure his survival.
  Thus, to survive mankind and the higher apes must form social groups to cooperate in assuring survival of the individual and its progeny.
  Therefore, collective association and its necessary rules, must be learned. That is what we call "nurture". The former is concrete in nature, and the latter is abstract in nature.
   While the two always interact, they are quite different in fundamental character.
  So the question becomes how do they interact, and how can that which can be learned, nurtured.
  The traditional Western notion of the tabula rasa is incomplete. What modern research has shown is that during the first six years of life, the infant actively selects the speech and behavioral patterns of its parents and siblings (its nurturers), rejects those of outsiders, lip reads from the speech formation of its parents, and then loses most or all of these abilities by the age of six.
  In other words, the nurturing process of acculturation is largely fixed by that age, and is not easily altered or reversed from that age on.
  This is why a culture must be mono-lingual. Because the language must be shared to function in a cooperative association, but is not easily changed once it is set, it must be acquired as soon and as thoroughly as possible. As an experienced teacher of teaching English to Japanese in Japan, it became very clear that even in later life, total immersion worked, bilingual language instruction failed, and the older they were, the worse the failure.
  As any person, such as myself, who has experienced the prolonged cultural shock of another language and social system on a daily basis can tell you, it can result in very severe reactions, even suicide, when re-acculturation fails.
  Any Christian missionary who has lived and worked abroad for a number of years can confirm this simple fact of human experience. Furthermore, it is the basis of the Catholic nursing and teaching orders' claims that, "Give me a child until he is six, and I will show you a Catholic for life".
  It is for this reason that the anarchy of unrestrained Libertarianism must be moderated by Culturalism. For if the cultural glue of language unity and social mores is destroyed, the culture and nation collapse into anarchy. The mutual trust that is required for cooperative effort is possible only when the same language and social values are shared, and it is rendered impossible when they are not...which is why some of the power-hungry 'elite' propagate 'multiculturalism' ...an oxymoron, if there ever was one.
  "Multiculturalism" is the essence of "divide and conquer". "From the many, one" (e pluribus unum) is culture. From the one, many, is anarchy.
  So how does this apply to ruling elites? With respect to the Bushes, Clintons and now, the Obamas, it doesn't. They are sociopaths, whose nurture teaches them they are the natural rulers of their societies, and are thus exempt from its moral strictures. In effect, they have no culture, but the culture of the ruler over the ruled. Their 'nation' is their extended family, and it is their only loyalty. Other examples are the Warburgs, the Rockefellers, the Fords, and their ilk. As was said, they are sociopaths, and in extreme cases, psychopaths. In fact the values they share amongst themselves are so alien to the culture they rule, they often have more in common with the values of alien criminals, than with the values of the social group upon which they prey.
  But what is truly staggering, is that the American people, who have allowed their rulers to so twist their traditional values into guilt and shame, that they will allow themselves to be slaughtered again and again, yet come back to vote these 'royals' into power over and over.
  Once this moral dissolution pattern spreads from generation to generation, the society itself becomes sociopathic, its culture disappears, and the nation-state it supports is invaded and overrun, as has been the pattern throughout history. The United States is rapidly approaching such a collapse now. The people will no longer fight for their national 'home'. You don't believe in it anymore. You have been divided and conquered from within. The Founders warned you, but you would not listen.
  So, by all means, vote them in again, and let us get our national suicide over with. It is insignificant anyway. You have no national vital force left. It was murdered by the elites' Newspeak and Hegelian dialectic long ago.

DEFINITION: Intent = who benefits (cui bono) + demonstrable proximate cause. If injury proximately caused, with malice.

As these outstanding series of essays show, globalism, corporate-statism or fascism (your choice) shows only two social groups benefit (cui bono) from uncontrolled immigration (legal and illegal) - government and big business. All other social classes are diminished in economic and political status.

How does government benefit? By breaking the political power of the middle class - the class which has been the political and economic backbone of all historical democratic republics. It is a prosperous middle class which votes or revolts the elites from power. [Ref: The Future of Freedom, Fareed Zakaria, W. W. Norton & Company]

How does big business benefit? By breaking the economic power of the middle class - the class which, through the union movement, raised the living standards of even minimal skilled workers to relative prosperity, and through small business, which became the main economic threat to big corporations. As shown in the work of Zakaria above, a liberal (classical definition) democracy cannot survive without a prosperous middle class. That unconstrained legal and illegal immigration is proximately causing the destruction of the prosperity of the U.S. middle class is clearly demonstrated in the four articles above by Ms. Alden.

Therefore, according to the definition used on this site, the intent of the globalist corporate-statists in tacitly ignoring and/or frustrating even minimal control of the borders and immigration is:

Deliberate destruction of the political power of the US middle class - with malice.
Deliberate destruction of the economic power of the US middle class by depressing wages, deliberate debasement of the US currency (Shown elsewhere onsite - the traditional method used by Latin American elites to repeatedly impoverish their middle classes ¹.), and by dumbing down the technological abilities of American workers - with malice.
Deliberate destruction of the constitutional republic form of US governance - with malice.
Deliberate deconstruction of the nation state of the United States - with malice.
Deliberate, involuntary fusion of the nation states of Mexico and Canada with the US.
Establishment of a fascist, collectivist New-World-Order rationalized and justified as "free trade".
